snowy weekend.
Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:55AM being 'stuck' in our treehouse with my best friend isnt so bad at all.
outside our windows the branches of the trees are being piled with snow, and today, as it gets too heavy and falls, we see this huge cloud of white and its pretty.
last nite i watched jurassic park for the first time-- andrew 'grew up on it'... and i am left wondering if i am a whimp or if thats a terrible thing for a child to watch. but with the outside bright in white although it was late at nite and our blinds all open... it was rather magical.
this is the first snowstorm in my adult life. since the kansas days. which i have a few small memories off. we are just enjoying a cozy day with tea and music and each other. id love to hear- what are you doing today?

My family and I have been alternating between shoveling the driveway/sidewalks/deck and playing settlers of catan.
daniel and i bought the jurassic park box set right after we got married.
they made me scream. especially the first one. you're not at all a whimp.

i 'grew up on it' too! but we were aloud to watch the 'bad' shows like the simpsons too.. i really love the music compositions in it.. my brothers and dad had the soundtrack which was played often! i wasnt scared as a kid, but i think i could be now.
the snow storms around here have been crazy! glad you enjoyed time inside together. i heard on the radio this morning that another one is hitting our area tomorrow and it's coming with a lot of wind (only 4 - 6 inches of snow expected.) i'm growing tired of it, to be honest.
and i hated watching jurassic park as a child and will never show that to my children. scary. scary. scary.
