Monday, February 8, 2010 at 08:40PM i wanted to post a few from a little shoot i did with my big sister, chelsea, in san diego, where we wandered around her neighborhood in north park... i love her and she's pretty and so is her city.
the sunny-ness of my homeland feels like a far away dream in this winter wonderland i find myself in.
Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 03:01PM in the fall, andrew and i went to see the dirty projectors at the black cat in dc... givers were touring with them- we hadnt even heard of them but within probably the first two notes, i was sort of mesmerized and in thorough enjoyment. their performance, their music, their kinetic energy, it was just. really great.
so anyway, they were back at the black cat this week, and this time around we were able to collaborate a bit. i got to shoot some photos of the lovely front-lady, teddy lamson. and while we werent dancing and enjoying our heads off, andrew and i were shooting some of the show for them:

Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:55AM being 'stuck' in our treehouse with my best friend isnt so bad at all.
outside our windows the branches of the trees are being piled with snow, and today, as it gets too heavy and falls, we see this huge cloud of white and its pretty.
last nite i watched jurassic park for the first time-- andrew 'grew up on it'... and i am left wondering if i am a whimp or if thats a terrible thing for a child to watch. but with the outside bright in white although it was late at nite and our blinds all open... it was rather magical.
this is the first snowstorm in my adult life. since the kansas days. which i have a few small memories off. we are just enjoying a cozy day with tea and music and each other. id love to hear- what are you doing today?
Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 01:47PM my sister's in law, jessica, laura, and natalie, have a little business called A Cup of Green Ginger. they sell handmade accessories and home decor. really unique and lovely things.
in the fall, they had a little party where they sold some of their items... i got to take photos at it, aaand, of course, shop-- and, really, their products are great. see those yellow earrings hanging up there? i have those. and i love those.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 03:27PM welllll.... i feel like beth is definitely populating my blog more than anyone or anything lately. ha. she WAS just in town for a week. and she IS basically like a sister.
thought id share a few from a little photo-ing adventure we had. we had a greatly inspirational time together. nothing like showing/sharing/helping/learning/growing/dreaming with a photographer who i appreciate and respect alot.
